locking problem with keyfob

x type jaguar 2009 won't lock with the keyfob but will lock the boot and open it, it will lock and alarm with the key in the door, i have done the key program thing with the ignition

Lube all door latches, and check the little "door" in the ignition lock. If that door in the ignition lock doesn't return to closed position it can cause that also.

Maybe a problem with the door lock/unlock button on the fob itself? Do you have a second fob that you can test the functions with?
