Lower Thermostat Hose
While reassembling everything after the upper radiator hose and thermostat housings swap, I noticed the stubby hose connecting the bottom of the thermostat to the aluminum pipe for the radiator had a small split in the upper edge. Sourcing a replacement has gotten crazy. Wouldn't a piece of automotive radiator hose of the same inside diameter work is a replacement? This hose apparently is a heavy rubber.

I ended up finding a Gates EPDM hose (p/n 22024) with the same ID, 1.42"ish, and cutting it to length. No issue since. It was $12 when I ordered it back in '21.

I feel like I somehow found the hose separate after I did this but I didn't save that anywhere.
