lower radiator hose/coolant loss
Hi everyone. I just got underneath my car today and noticed I had coolant leaking right above my thermostat. Im pretty sure my only option is changing the upper radiator hose. But on my car I have this metal pipe right below the thermostat that is also leaking from rubbing against the frame. Is this the lower radiator hose? I've looked everywhere online but I can only find pictures of a rubber hose. Thank you
PS. I would post a pic but I don't know how to do it through my phone

More than likely partner its your thermostat that is cracked and making it appear that other parts are leaking, replacing the thermostat is not hard just time consuming as the angle of the bolts are somewhat inconvenient
I def saw that I have two leaks....one is right above where the thermostat connects. I would say its some sorta housing that connects to the block. The other leak is this steel hose that connects right under the thermostat. I just don't know what its called. Right now I wrapped electrical tape around it but have yet to drive my car so I don't know how long this temp fix will last
You can call these guys up to see what the part is called as I am not sure either what the name would be of it
