MAF sensor
Two wires have fallen out the MAF sensor socket, I can't tell which one goes where. Can someone PM with photo of colour coding of wiring?
Also getting a wastegate sensor error 'a' is this due to the MAF not sending signal to ECU.

Thanks for looking, Douglas

Douglas, if you look at the MAF sensor, you should see 5 spots where wires can go. The wiring is as follows:
1: empty, no wire goes in this spot
2: white wire with a green stripe on it
3: Brown wire with a blue stripe on it
4: Brown wire with a blue stripe on it (these two wires can be wired either way as they are electrically the same)
5: White with a blue stripe on it.
Get the MAF sensor fixed and then clear all the code(s) and see what comes back then. We can then deal with what you have then. 1 problem at a time.

Douglas, the general rule I would use is if the CEL is flashing, then don't drive it. If it is just on, then probably fine for a short period of time, but I wouldn't drive it forever like that.
