Hi all,

Need a push in the right direction please. My manual rear window mechanism has stopped working, you just turn the handle and nothing happens. It is quite hard to turn and the wind just sides up and down very freely.

I want to have a look at the weekend any ideas how to first remove the door trim panel? And is this a common problem?

Wow! I didn't know Jaguar made manual wind down windows on the X. Cool, I want some!

 

It is my understanding that the Classic trim level had manual wind-down rear door windows.

No idea on what could be the problem though, never seen the mechanism inside.
