Default Meshed the front grille this morning

Decided to bite the bullet and go for it and although a pain cutting all the bars out and cleaning the edges it took me a couple of hours start to finish and I'm glad I did :-)

FROM THIS......

I think that looks much better than the original black flutes.

Sweet! Mine's a black on black also. Maybe I'll go the same route.

Amazing really that a bit of mesh can totally transform the front

Lovin the Mesh M9.....wondered if you might do that?
Really makes a difference.

Its almost a carbon copy of my sons recent X type purchase, see link below....

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...premium-96977/

He's just painted his hubs / calipers stock silver and what a difference it makes to the look of the wheels ( all just refurbished too )

He's looking at a few subtle mods yet, including the lower mesh grill, window tints and the rear bumper blade mod as in the post linked too.

Are you doing the lower grill mesh too, any other mods planned?
Thanks

Mine has the subdued leaper. It's more gun metal. Goes well with the black on black.

I meant to say, after the many horror stories about the 2 part wheel nuts failing ( these can result in having to be drilled out ), Peter has his changed to these, removing the locking wheel nuts totally

M9 - You didn't say, have you any other mods / upgrades or changes planned for her?

Love to hear your thoughts...

Jim,

Do you have a Part Number for these 'lover grills' - sounds just the thing for livening up the traffic jams.

I think you can just replace the Leaper with a Bonnet Badge..it maybe cheaper than the whole bonnet..

Look here: Jaguar s Type x Type Bonnet Hood Badge | eBay

OOOoooooo I like the sound of lover grills lol

Future mods I suppose is probably the sport lip on the boot and a set of 18" 5 spokes or multi-spokes

I would like a subtle valance all the round but i see they are around a grand
