misfiring during warm up
My 02 jag 2.5 runs very rough until it's warm then runs fine. Its been almost two months now . The check engine is on for codes 1 through 6 misfiring but doesn't say why. There are no vac leaks had a recent tune up and if it were the maf or coolant temp sensor wouldn't that be in the codes? Also while driving yesterday my driver side radiator hose popped out somehow. I put a new clamp on and it was fine but what caused that? Also my car for the passed week has been shutting off I believe because of the alternator which I need to replace. Could that be causing the misfire or would whatever caused my hose to shoot out be the problem.

Myjag, having a low system voltage can lead to the ECU acting funny and leading to other issues. So, that could be the cause of the misfires. It could also be something as simple as the fuel pump is not getting sufficient voltage and therefore dropping the fuel line pressure, leading to the insufficient fuel in the cylinder. Get the alternator issue resolved and then lets see what we have then.
As for the radiator hose coming off, there's a lot of things that can cause that. I would just keep an eye on things and make sure that the hose is not starting to balloon. That would be a sign that it is on its last legs and should be replaced before the hose splits in the middle.
