I haven't done anything wild to my car yet. I have:
-tinted the windows with 20% tint
-converted the fog lights to HID using 6000K (35W) bulbs
-converted front running lights over to 7000K 280K MCD 10MM bulbs
-tinted side marker lights
-converting side marker lights over to LED bulbs (in progress, using same bulbs as front running lights)
-upgraded brakes to cross drilled/slotted rotors
-under hood painting
-removal of chrome lettering on back of car
-conversion over to sport model monochromatic look (except for leaving the "Jaguar" in chrome on the license plate light cover)
-replacement of transfer case drain plug with drain valve to allow routine transfer case fluid changes.
Future projects:
-dual subwoofer upgrade and installation of 800W RMS worth of amps wired up to factory head unit
-alternator upgrade (in support of the larger stereo system)
-port/polish of intake
-converting side chrome strips above windows to all black look
-addition of red LEDs to the leaper on the front of the car (still researching this one due to long holes that need to be drilled)
-converting all lights over to either LED or HID
-color matching the washer spray nozzles to match body of car
Just a small list of future projects. I'm sure there are a few other things that will be coming as I am continually looking at the vehicle and thinking about what I can do. Contemplating if I want to convert the car over to an air bag suspension setup. Trying to decide if the price would be worth the benefits. I would do a slightly different setup than what is normal in that I would have a selectable setup to allow the ride to be a bit softer during normal driving, but then be able to stiffen it up some when I want to do some twisties.
If you want to see pics, let me know. I will get them posted here.

02X 2.5 77k miles
Inside:
Birds eye maple interior kit (matches stock) - dash bits, door bits (around window switches) - the best part is it covers the entire center stack - no black plastic!
Kenwood 200w powered 10" sub in the trunk
Sony CD changer
Hardwired Sirius Sat. Radio
Custom floormats
Outside:
EBC slotted and dimpled rotors
Centric ceramic brake pads
Voxx MG 17" aluminum wheels w/Hankook Ventus tires
Drilled out factory mufflers
K&N air and oil filters, airbox mod
British front plate
Car was repainted last summer (looks like new)
Future: replace stock mufflers with aftermarket, new door speakers all the way around. Debating about lowering springs, not sure due to the hills and sharp angles around here.

Nothing too crazy on my X but here goes what I have so far and what I plan for the near future.
Installed:
Mina Gallery Upper and Bottom Mesh Assembly (Upper mesh grill is the full assembly not the mesh inserts)
Kenwood DDX7015 6.5" Touchscreen Navi /w iPod connection hidden in middle console
Tinted windows 15%
Front Lights Philips HID Kit 4300k (My friend told me 4300k was factory xenon look, LIEEESSSSS)
Parking Lights 5000k 6 LED bulb
License Plate 5000k 6 LED bulb
Chrome Side Pillars
Front and Back Custom License Plate
Future:
19" Giovanna Sabina's
Interior and Exterior LED conversion
Speaker Upgrade
HID Kit Fog Lights
I am looking for good brands for speakers, since I already have a Kenwood headunit, I was thinking of maybe keeping it all Kenwood. I'm looking for something with good bass without getting a subwoofer. Let me know if you guys know of any good ones from experience or knowledge! Thanks!

I listened to them alongside others including Kenwoods and the Focals absolutely blew them away...can understand now why the audio specialists who recommended them have won so many national and international awards.Mine had excellent bass from the door speakers even with the sub turned down.

I have a K&N filter I've been wanting to put on. I just took my Jag to its 40k mile service. a few months ago and in the notes it said the oil filter was replaced. I'm at 44k now So should I just replace the one they put in a few months ago with the K&N or just use the one they replaced till replacement needed?

620, I would pull out the paper air filter and toss in the K&N filter. Then you can have the paper filter for when you are cleaning the K&N and need to drive the vehicle. You know that right after you pull out the K&N and get it all wet, you are going to need to drive the car. Murphy's Law.

I was actually talking about a K&N Oil Filter. But you guys brought to my attention of replacing the air filter with a K&N Air Filter, so I put an order in this morning and will soon enjoy the wonders of K&N. Thanks!
On another note, What size are the speakers fit inside the the X-Type? Can I buy 6x9's and put them in the door speakers? My X comes with factory tweeters in each door, does that mean my audio system is premium?
I just don't have much of bass and I want to be able to have some quality bass without the subs. So I want to know if I can put 6x9's inside all of the doors flush.
Thanks in advanced!

620, the 6x9 will physically fit inside of the front doors, but the issue that you are going to have is that the opening inside the door panel is not large enough for a speaker of that size. So, some of the sound is going to be muffled inside of the doors.
The factory speakers are 6-3/4" speakers. So, in the way of bass, that is about as good as you are going to get without stepping up to a bigger speaker. You might be able to replace the speakers with a different brand and that may give you a little bit more base, but that is going to be a hit and miss thing and will take some time going to local stereo shops and listening to a lot of different brands. On that note, you only need to listen to 1 speaker from a manufacturer as the manufacturer normally uses the same technology through most of their line. Therefore the sound of one speaker is going to be pretty consistent throughout. So, find a Pioneer, Kenwood, MB Quarts, etc and try to listen to all of them using the same exact setup (same radio, same amp, same music-bring your own CD, etc). You will be able to hear the difference. if you can't, well then not much more can be done at that point other than installing some subs.

620, There are physical differences between a 6.5" speaker and a 6-3/4" speaker. Granted, worst case, you pick up some 6.5" speakers and then you can get some adapter plates ($15 for a set of 2) and that will allow you to run whatever size speaker you want in the factory hole as long as the speaker is smaller than the factory speaker.

I would do a slightly different setup than what is normal in that I would have a selectable setup to allow the ride to be a bit softer during normal driving, but then be able to stiffen it up some when I want to do some twisties.

MeeMo, here's some pics for you.
This is the front of my car now. Note the painted grille surround, painting corner pieces and the splitter in the lower opening is also painted. There are also 10 MM LEDs in the high beam openings for the running lights and the fog lamps have been converted over to 6000K HIDs. Unfortunately, the lighting aspects can't be shown all that well.
The rear of my car. Painted trim above the license plate, painted corner pieces, painted lower valance, and all the chrome lettering has been removed. The lettering may go back on at some point in the future, but it won't be chrome. We'll see what happens. I like the clean look without all the lettering and whatnot there.
Better shot of the "Jaguar" in chrome. Doing this is pretty easy. I used Elmer's Glue. If you want to know more, let me know. After you do it a few times, you can do some pretty crazy things.
If you look, you can see the tinted corner markers. I didn't go super dark with them as the tint paint tends to turn thing green. But, they are much more subdued and with them being against the green, in some cases they blend right in with the paint. I have also mounted 10MM LED bulbs in these. Again, not something that the picture shows.
My cross drilled slotted rotors with a bit of high temp paint on them. I went with black with the hope of "hiding" the calipers behind the rim.
What the calipers/rotors look like behind the rims. Pardon the rim rubs. I am planning on fixing that here shortly. Probably leave most of the rim silver, but taking the 2 recessed spokes and painting them black to give the rim a look of a 5 spoke rim with no lip. I will have to tape up the rims to give a better idea of what I have planned.
20% tint on the windows. This will give everyone an idea of how dark the 20% is from inside the vehicle.
Here is a pic of the transfer case drain valve upgrade. Of all the mods I have done, this is probably the most useful of them. As you can see, there is a collar to this valve (left of the T-handle). If you do this upgrade, get a valve with this collar. You use the collar to stick your clear tygon tubing into so you can refill the transfer case. This valve is simply a radiator drain valve. $5 (USD) at any auto parts store. Don't forget that you will also need an adapter fitting to go from 1/2" NPT male threads to 1/4" NPT female threads. $3 (USD) at any hardware store.
I haven't taken any pics of the underhood painting. Guess I need to do that. Granted, need to finish painting the parts. Opps. Just need to paint the top of the air box. That is it.
