Default More on Windscreen Washer Fluid

Owners manual recommends using Jaguar Windscreen Washer Fluid and warns that using "non-approved" fluid may "adversely affect the wiper blade rubber, resulting in noisy and ineffectual wiping".

I used the blue stuff from my local AutoZone store.

Should I be concerned?? Or, did I just save some $$?

I've been using the blue stuff from Advance Auto and Walmart for years in my X Type - no problem.

I've been using Rain-X with de-icer and bug remover since buying the Jag Aug of last year. Haven't had and problems, buy it at Walmart. I also am using wiper blade replacements bought at Advance Auto.

All car manufacturers will probably recommend the use of their own range of products including windscreen wipefluid.
The only time mine has had it in was probably when it left the factory until the first top up.
Cant see why any other wont do.
