Default Mpg?

I was just wondering what kind of MPG people are getting in their X Type?

I have a 2002 2L Automatic and I'm getting an average of 22 MPG.

My usual commute to work involves a lot of stopping and starting so I get about 15 MPG on it (according to the trip computer).

Outside the city I get about 30MPG.

Is this about average?

This is my first Jag so I don't know what kind of figures they get.

That is about right for how you drive. I have the 3l motor and I get about 15 in town and 25-27 mpg on the highway.

I got 18.33 MPG on a fill up yesterday. My road conditions are different than your city and highway driving. No straight highway and no city. Constant curves, esses and hills. So, it's not comparing oranges to apples.
