My 1st Jaguar
Hi there, my name is Pol and I got my x-type 2L diesel last Fri, and I must say " what a car " . I never thought that I would ever have one, but thought I would treat myself for my lol. So went on auto trader and found this one. I arranged my flight down to London to get it . Got there bout 10:30pm, met the guy and bought the car. Left about 11:30ish, to head back up home. I never new anything about Jaguars, where certain controls were etc. Got lost in the fog ended up in Wales, lol missed the turn off to Glasgow, ended up in Gartcosh, but got home eventually bout 8am. This was the first time I've done any kind of distance driving in any car, never mind a big Jag. But Sooo smooth, quiet, relaxing. It was a total pleasure to drive even though I was for bout 300 miles through curtains of fog and mist. Hats off to all those big rig lorry drivers on M40. Anyway, that's me..
Now ive had a few days with my new prize there is a few things I need to fix/replace, so its good to find a forum with like minded souls who are big cat enthusiasts lol. Cheers Pol

Pol, welcome to the Forums. If you have a question, I am sure someone here will be able to assist and get you the info that you need.
Yes, the X-TYpe is a nice cruising vehicle. Sure beats some of the other rides that I have had. So, sit back, make a few more long trips and enjoy letting the kitty purr.
