i see what everyone is saying about dirty playing, and there is a line. thats why in the early 90's i loved the knicks whole team, they would cross that line almost every play and it was fun to watch the hard fouls and evil picks.
Bowen is dirty but not as dirty as Jeff Hornasak from utah. Him and Stockon were the dirtiest players out there, way worse than bowen but the were smart enough not to get caught. Shoot watch Magic Johnson play defense or Joe Dumars the did some rough things. I forgot who it was but one player back in the 80's admitted a few years ago that he would throw an elbow jogging down the court on his defender in the same spot every time. The by the 3rd quarter the area would be very sensitve and then he would take advantage of that.

 

Listen to the names that you just mentioned house. These are all great players, and 3 of the 4 are sure hall of famers, and hornasek was probably the best free throw shooter of his era, if not all time! Bowen, well he has been known through out his career as a defensive specialist and he can't even do that correctly.[&:] It's like commiting fraud!

Bowen is only getting caught for bieng dirty because he is an average player. Its like back in the day there where rules for jordan and rules for the rest of the NBA. Same with Shaq for a while he had his own rules then the whole league complained and he still had his own rule but now it was against him.

Yes bowen hasnt earned the special call status yet, but dont fault him for doing the same stuff these hall of famers did.

You sure they are black and white! Bowen has many displays of doing dirty things...he's doing dirty things to some of the best players...his attempts to stop people are blatantly out in the open! Kneeing in the gonads, kicking in the back of the leg! What the F---! I would have much rather enjoyed this series for not having all of this crap happening than having it happen. Just because all of this has gone on doesn't get me to want to watch it! My biggest problem is that the nba lets him get away with it...all year long he's had warning on top of warning on top of warning and nothing ends up evolving from a warning...my parents warned me once and after that it was my price to pay! This needs to but hasn't happened for the spurs. I hope the jazz beat the snot out of them...i'd like to see bowen cover boozer! Too bad he's not big enough!

 

Plus look at it this way...Ben Wallace with Detroit was hands down awesome at defense which his awards speak for that but he didn't go around doing it dirty like, did he? Look at Rodman he wasn't half as dirty as Bowen he just worked his butt off to do what was within his limits!

I don't think that suns have enough! I'd like to think they have enough...they should have taken the game last night from the spurs especially when they were missing 31 points by not having diaw and stoudi! Mother fing spurs! Common things like the team you want to win never wins tells me the spurs aren't letting the suns advance! I'd love for the suns to upset me though!

 

Even if suns wouldn't be upset you , I think , dawns,good evenings,afternoons would do that ...lol
