Default My HID instal!!!

Well after reading Disco's post, i got in the mood to do the hids. I bought a kit from a local seller who obviously bought them from abroad at a much lower price, and sold me a kit for 75 dollars. The reason i didnt go with mydepots or an ebay seller is because i expericend what i feared. One of my ballasts were faulty. So at the moment the bulbs are installed and running, however 1 is off because there is not a ballast to power it. The kit i got does not require the ballast to connect to the battery, which i particularly liked. So later on today i will be meeting the seller and he will be replacing the ballast. I have attached some pictures so you guys can take a look. The passengers side was probably the toughest thing i have done on my car. I was sweating like a mad man. The divers side i took out the battery box and it was a piece of cake. I didnt want to post in discos thread because then id be hijacking it.
I have a feeling that i might have touched the bulb with my finger. what can happen? But i doubt it.

I got a smirk on my face when i saw the S type on the box!

Sorry for messy garage! LOL You can obviously tell which is the HID and which the the regular!

Hey, good pics, but resize them to lower resolution (since the iPhone does a horrible job of automatically changing pics take or import to a worse size)...that should fix the jaggies you have.

I am hoping I can change my lights but it looks like crazy work.

Yea the jaguar was a TOUGH install for me, my hands are big, not much room. It was easier on the battery side because i took the battery out. But the passengers side was a WHOLE new story. However it was not as hard as i thought it would be. Its a fun experience. For cars with more space, like the toyota, it will be easy! Good luck though i should be posting some more pics today since i added the new ballast and now both sides are working!
