So what if it's a 4 year old thread - no-one answered the last question til RX did. At least he's contributing and anyone else searching on the word leaper will find his post.

Personally I'd replace it and wire it up to a big capacitor fed off the battery

I for one have nothing against necromancy! 8D

I think that it's ok to reply to an old thread, if the thread in question discusses some issue common to the user base, such as "where to get leapers" or "which is the best aftermarket exhaust". However, I'd advise against resurrecting the "I have an issue with my car" as the cases are often practically unique as each vehicle is a bit different, especially when older, so similar symptoms may be caused by entirely different things etc.

Maybe use a real Taser wired to the Leaper. A big capacitor might just knock 'em away, but I hear tell the Taser will make them clamp on so hard they can't let go.

(Plus, there is a great likelihood they will urinate, evacuate their bowels, and forget their own name for a few minutes, too).

Might be an excellent after-market item for the Jag.

I'd buy one!

i thought about the taser.....problem is if it rained, your whole car will blow up.

my other idea was attaching a razor to the inside of the cats chest...so when they grab it they slice their finger
