Default My Jag X type will not start

I recently changed the transfer case, and after that the car will not start. No fuel pressure, no fuel coming out of the filter. Did I kill the fuel pump somehow ? or is there something else that I am missing?

Daniel, I would check the fuses for the fuel pump. That is the most likely thing to have happen. After that, hard to say what is going on. All the wiring is running through the body of the car, so, nothing hanging down for you to catch and disconnect. Unless you somehow triggered the crash sensor and it shut down the fuel system thinking that a crash occurred, but that is about it.

Also check the fuel pump relay. Put a volt meter on it and see if you're getting juice when the car is cranked.

Both simple checks. I'd lean towards Thermo's suggestion. Hard enough bumpin' around to trigger the inertia switch to shut down the fuel system.

Fuses and relays are OK. I unpluged the main connector under the backseat and run straight wires to the fuel pump (red and yelow, thicker than all the others) and looks like the pump is shot... just clicks but no constant movement... I think i will need to change the pump... but I am still not sue...
