I can relate. neglected 2002 108,000 miles paid almost 4k. have about 6k in repair bills so far. But with the help of these guys on the forum, I am very optimistic.

2004 2.5SE auto Only had it 6 months, but really love it. One of the best cars I have owned. Replaced 1 O2 sensor so far. No other problems 68,600 miles so far. All main dealer service stamps in book. paid £5,900 last August. Near perfect inside and out. Tyres all Pirelli were replaced 6 months before I bought it. I am getting on a bit now but still able to do most repairs myself. Great forum!
