hey all is it possible to install a navigation unit(stock perferbly07-08look if it wer to be ordred or sumthing or taken out of a parts car)in the radio space ? i mean like if u have take out the radio unit thing would you have to pull new wires and stuff? also does it matter if the rear window is tinted? i herd ur not spuse to tint windows if u have a navigation/gps unit. srry for the grammer n all late nite question jumpt outta bed for this one lol think bout my car b4 i hit the bed.

 

Not suppose touse metallic window tint..

The car should be already pre-wired for a nav system..but you'll need the DVD player for the trunk and the console unit which includes the radio head unit...I've seen both on ebay from time to time.

 

back up. Correct on the metallic tint..but very rare.

The car is not pre-wired...so if you find a junk car that has what you want, you will have to gut the entire electrical system, then take it to jag so they can re-set the security code.
