Need coolant reservoir tank...

anyone know where I can get a cheap one? The return nozzle broke off and the shop said it can't be fixed. Jaguar wants $200 for a new one... I've been searching the web but if anyone has a good site I'd appreciate it. Thanks

It's nice and looks easy to use.....unfortunatly, I don't think i'll be puting on any used parts on my jag (5 year warranty with 4 more years to go)

Just for the heck of it, I did a search for an alternator (2005 x type, 3L) they found one for a 2002, 200 dollars and closet one was 57 miles away.....brand new one on eBay, 130, 25 shipping.....things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

i dunno if you did or not, but if you scroll down to the bottom of the page AFTER you do your search, there are page numbers at the bottom. the one with the asterisk is the page with the lowest posted price. i did a search for 2005, x-type, and the lowest listed price was for an alternator from a 2004 3.0 AT, and the cost was $50.93.

www.partsandaccessories.com shows an expansion tank for a 2002 3.0 liter V6 x-type can be had for about $123 plus shipping. I replaced an expansion tank for the same reason a few weeks ago. Paid $125 plus tax for the new tank at my local foreign parts dealer (not a Jag dealer). This internet deal looks pretty good if you don't have another local source.
