Default need help with timing issues

Hey all. Is it possible for the left hand cylinder bank to be out of timing and cause the right had to run extra rich? The left hand timing chain on my engine seems to be stretched pretty badly in a particular section, but the intake valves and piston heads look alright. The right hand intake valves seem to have gooey black build up on them, and the openings where the gaskets go on the upper and lower manifold are also covered in blackish build up, but more liquid like. I guess my main question is, could the problem be on the left side, but showing the symptoms on the right side?
