I’m looking to change the brake booster vaccum line with the round check valve in the middle. Can someone please give me a definite part number for this part please ? Also do the vaccum lines that usually cause a vacuum leak just pull out ? And reinsert the new ends into the holes ? Any help is greatly appreciated

 

I am going to guess C2S17552.

The line pulls out of the throttle assy by pressing/holding the outer plastic ring and pulling the plastic line OUT.

 

motorcar man, good guess. I have a 2.1L motor and it is different. Being an American query, your suggestion is the correct one for a 2.5 or 3.0 model.

Note: If you don't have, or already have deleted the vacuum assist pump, you probably need the one for the 2.5 or 3.0L that Motorcarman has identified.


Vacuum assist was in earlier models and remained in the 2.1 engine production, so the brake booster vacuum line can be different as Yorta2 has eluded.
