fora quick sale, i think that is a bit high. i don't doubt you can get it, but i don't think it will sell any faster than normal. a year ago i got a 04 2.5 with 23k for $16k, and it is now a year later and yours is a year older. drop it down to $13k and it will be gone in a few days i bet.

I just decided that I'm not too worried about selling it quickly. I am going to San Antonio tomorrow to look at my new cars and might just trade it in. If I don't get what I want on trade then I will sell it to whoever will buy it for the price listed. I will sell it to someone if they want to buy it before I head to San Antonio though.

When I searched for x-types before I bought mine I would have loved to have paid what your asking! Mine was 02 with 3.0, auto, cd, sport, konig rims, no hid, 50k miles and I paid like 15,400 for mine. Your price is pretty fair plus you still have a warranty I'd hold steady and wait for an offer...

just for the hell of it because i had some time to kill between appointments today, i browsed the various sites to see what they had to say.

nada - $13.3 trade in, $15.9 retail

kelly - $12.1 trade in, $15.7 retail, $13.9 private (all withbest condition, drops to $11.4 for trade in and $13 private for next level, w/ premium wheels)

edmunds - $14.7 trade, $18.3 retail, $16.6 private (all with outstanding rating, drops to $14 trade, $17.4 retail $15.8 privatefor the nextlevel)

interstingly enough, edmunds was the best of the 3 sites as far as choosing options. nada had almost nothing to choose from, kelly had a few items, but edmunds had the most complete and REAL list of available options for the X, such as wheel size, heated seats, homelink, rain sensors, nav, etc. the really were hands down the best site.

Hey cobra I'd use edmunds as your bargaining point with the information that nineball gave...someon says well its worth this on kelley well kelley doesn't have as extensive of an option list and mine has this and this and this....I like your car though why were you selling again? What are you looking at getting?

Actually (andplease don'tkill me) but I've changed my mind again. I'm now getting an 05Lexus LS430 and a 06 Lexus GX470.... I'm going back to Lexus.... NOT because my Jaguar has any problems but because I need something larger, known a bit more for reliability, and has a closer service department.

I will still be on here and chat.

Thanks! I've ow
ned 4 Lexus's in the past. They are the most reliable vehicles out there!

Check the specs on this thing.

Engine: 4.3L V8 RWD
Fuel Econ: 18city/25hwy
HP: 290
Tq: 320ft lbs
0-60: 5.9seconds
Qtr Mile: 14.7seconds

www.motortrend.com
Quality, durability and reliability are Lexus hallmarks. For the 10th consecutive year, Lexus was the highest-ranking brand in a J.D. Power and Associates dependability study; based on surveys of owners, the study named LS 430 the most problem-free car in its class after three years of ownership. The LS 430 is also a perennial quality leader, as cited in J.D. Power's Initial Quality Study, which surveys owners after 90 days of ownership.
Here are some pictures of the actual car I'm getting:

I personally don't like the asian cars interiors...don't get me wrong those cars are sooooo quiieet! I just don't like the interiors. Outside looks nice...I love the g35's but hate the interiors...nice car though cobra! Why don't you get another jag though? Your going to pay for that car more than you would for a jag?

It's quite a bit more but Lexus is ranked #1 in Reliablity, Resale, and Customer service. This is an area I really would like to see Jaguar pic up the ball. They could be a serious competitor if they would do what needs to be done to get in the game. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed owning my Jag. but I don't think it is, or ever was,up to par with any of the Lexus's I've owned.

Plus, my customer service experience was AWESOME with Lexus. They really are going out of their way to make me a Lexus owner again. They are delivering the car on a flat bed and picking up the Jap. The dealer is over 3 hours away. Plus, they certified the car as a Lexus Certified Pre-owned, this means I get a 5 year 100k mile warranty which includes pickup and drop off of a loaner Lexus LS if my car has to be serviced for any reason (including the 3 free oil changes I get).

Honestly guys, I'm a Lexus person. They have sold me in SO many respects that even all my friends wondered why I purchased a Jag. I did love owning the Jag though.

Who knows, I'll probably be cuising in a new S-Type some point in my future.

Thanks though!

When I say LExus is lack ofcharacteristics features ,my thoughts address that car pictured above. It's very W140 MB and I would defininetly go with MB (genuine item)instead yet I have nothing to say, if you would be happy with Lexus then MB , it's ok

The gray part of the interior is kind of what kills it. If the gray parts of the interior were to be replaced with beige, leather wrapped parts, it would look beautiful, but that's just me. Either way it's a nice car, and customer service is BY FAR the best on the market!

Yeah it really is a nice car! They threw in an additional 3 year 50k warranty ON TOP of the Certified Pre-Own 5yr/100k warranty. This car is now warrantied up to 150k miles for 8 years...hahaha and I'll probably never have to use it : )

Anyways, they offered me $14,500 for my trade [8D] and they are delivering my Lexus and Picking up the Jag. today FOR FREE!

Awesome!!
