New fault code P0430, P1000
So, I posted early this week that I had bought a 03 X-Type 3.0. it had the CEl on, and dealer told me it only needed a Downstream O2. At that time it threw P1647. My mechanic opened her up because it was showing the upstream was bad still. Well the dealer never did change it, it was frayed and taped. So we replaced it. I drove the car 2x yesterday, and this morning it threw more codes. P0430 and P1000. Could this be the downstream sensor that we didnt replace? Or, is it the dreadful Cat? How would we test to make sure.. Also, what other things should I look for. I am really in a bind here, as I spent $700 yesterday on the upstream/new belts/service.

Here is an explanation on P0430:
jaghelp.com: P0420 and P0430 on you Jaguar X-type
The dealer is not to be trusted. Make sure they changed it :/

P0430
Fault Description: Catalytic converter system efficiency below threshold – bank 2 (Bank 2 is the front one, same side where you changed upstream one)
P1000
DTC P1000 is flagged after DTCs have been cleared, all engine management OBD diagnostic monitor drive cycles HAVE NOT BEEN COMPLETED.
P1000 replaces with P1111 OBD diagnostic monitor drive cycles have been completed so just ignore them.
