Looks like a beautiful example! If you want to keep it that way, replace all the fluids. That single thing will go a long way toward preserving this great car.

Congratulations! I have an LS430 and the much less expensive X Type gets FAR more stares, double takes, etc. It's just a more beautiful car as a whole.

Welcome to the club. Nice looking ride and ditto on the fluid changes. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure could not be more true. Congrats again!

Sad news! The car was being shipped to me and the carrier had an accident. I was told by the carrier that the car sustained minor front damage. Don't know what the means. I have requested photos and the info on the carriers insurance. That info is supposed to come to me sometime today.

I'd honestly look for another one unless damage is very minimal, and if it is, get that price knocked back.

I have good news for you. After they replace and repaint the front fascia your Jag will look like new in the front as opposed to having years worth of dead bugs impaired on it. Sounds like it works in your favor!

Providing nothin is sprung in the frame...I'd say you are due a whole new front bumper assembly and under panel....Hope they can match the paint to the older paint too...

If it were me...I'd say take it back and I want my money back...or you'll be hearing from my attorney..PERIOD...Starting off on a bad note already

There is an AC line that runs in that area. Make sure it is not broken or leaking.

Are you a native of Napoli or in the US Navy there at the NAS air Station?...I was there back in 1976.

Howdy!!!
I'm stationed here and work at Naval Forces Europe/Naval Forces Africa/SIXTH Fleet. Its change quite a bit since 76 as you can probably see from the title above. All three commands have consolidated and we are now headquartered at Capodichino right at the airport. Have another 2 years then I'll hit my 30 years and head back to the states for my transition to corporate America! What did you do in the Navy???

I was our A6 Intruder Squadron's shore detachment (EOD) during the 76 Bi-Centennial Med cruise on the USS America..I spent 5 months their while the boat and Air wing was floating around in the Med...Did see all the sights while there though...Isle of Capri was cool and Sofia Loren's villa.

Very bad luck, money back time I think. The hood appears to have sprung on the driver's side, not really enough info in that picture. I hope it works out for you, lovely colour, a great shame. Martin.
