Go Oilers!

If you search the X-Type section, there are a few threads about HP gain with exhaust (minimal) and there are a few sound bites of the borla and mina exhausts.

xjagx, first off, anything 20" and up will not fit on our cars without extensive body modification. So, mark those rims off the list. As for appearance, most will tend to agree that 18" rims are the best overall rim to put on our X's. They offer the low profile look, but have good road manners (ie, don't get bent at the sight of a pothole). Also keep in mind that you will not be able to run a tire that is over 235mm in width without body modification.

As for the style of rim, that is a personal preference and you will get all sorts of "I love this style rim", "I love THIS style of rim". Decide what you like and go with that. If you look in the galleries, there are plenty of pictures to choose from and see what you like and what you don't.

theres alot of appearance mods ...but if your looking for power this car is best left stock...then you wont have any headaches....you will not gain any power ...ive been there done that my cousin has a dyno and for sure you will lose power...the numbers dont lie

I say go with a wheel that you like, and personally think 19" are the best for any more luxurious car looking for aftermarket. But body modifications and suspension modifications don't scare me, so if you are not willing to do them, go 18".

For exhaust I say Arden twin dual setup is by far the most appealing and probably highest quality system you can buy for these cars.

Other than that, get the body add-on's, front and rear lip, sideskirts and be done with it.

Since Mina Gallery and Jag XP got together as one, I think they've done just fine as far as service, shipping working with you, etc. I've purchased the mesh grills from them and was happy all around.
