Boy am I glad I waited on buying a replacement headunit for my X.

The X type is my daily driver, and it's been been a little rough as far as entertainment is concerned, specially when both my much older E type and XJS have modern conveniences like bluetooth, sirius xm etc. I fitted those two with this :

Looks like Alpine just came out with a shallow double din Applecarplay receiver for iPhone users! Perfect for me, as I only do Alpine decks, and iPhones. And it's shallow,so no worries about fit!! It's also got a clean look. Perfect.

Pretty cool. Would you be able to use the steering wheel controls with this unit? What about the 6 disc changer in the trunk?

I'd love to see one installed to see how it looks in an X-Type.
