So we are looking at a x-type wagon and I open the hatch in the back where the spare tire is and there is a foam insert and it looks like there should be some tools there, but there is nothing there. Lift it up and there is a spare underneath. Isn't there a toolkit with these cars?

 

Steve, in my car, that styrofoam piece holds the jack and the lugnut wrench as I recall.
