No back brakes.
Hi guys,
It' been ages since I have been on the site but I still have the cat. She' been sitting most of the year though, just been trying to get her back in tip top shape. My latest issue are the back brakes. When bleeding the brakes with my mightyvac no fluid comes out. However when the brake pedal is pressed fluid comes out. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Smittybizzle,
It could be that the rear rubber brake line had gone bad. The internal layer of hose has cracked and will allow the fluid to flow when the pedal is pushed but under vacuum the hose collapses preventing flow. You'll find this is talked about on the E-type forum on another list.
