Howdie all.

I'm new to the forum and previously owned a Jaguar Sovereign but have just purchased a 2001 model X Type 2.5 automatic.

It has a Jaguar CD changer in the boot/trunk which appears original. However on the console it does not have the single CD but rather a cassette player and radio.

Can anyone kindly advise me how I change CD once in the car? There is no CDC button on the console. The owner's manual makes no mention of any other way to change CD once inside, other than by pressing a CDC button!

Maybe I'm missing something really obvious?

With this unit, press CD to play a CD, it will pick up where it left off, then press 1 through 6 to change to the disc in that position in the boot changer



If you have steering wheel controls you can go forward a track or go back a track but it will only cycle the same disc this way
