No chimes, warnings or turn signals make noise
The car has been like this since I got it. I can't find a fuse for audible chimes.
It's not a "priority" but it would be nice to know if my turn signal is still on.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Spike, let me look at my diagrams. I forget if the dinger is built into the GEM module or if it is its own separate piece. Either way, I will get you taken care of. Out of curiosity as there were changes made in 2004, do you have the early 04 or later 04 ?
Spike, you are going to laugh at this, but the speaker is built into the turn signal stalk. So, you will need to drop the bottom half of the steering column to access the switch and then you should see the speaker at that point. It is very possible that you will need a new turn signal to make the buzzer sound.
Now, just to make sure that it isn't a problem some where else, if you have a multimeter, you can connect the red lead to the orange/yellow wire on the plug for the turn signal stalk and then the black lead to the black wire on the turn signal stalk. Then, when you apply the turn signal, this should cause your multimeter to start "bouncing" between 12 VDC and 0 VDC.
Please keep in mind that there is a second buzzer that is built into the GEM module that does the alarms for like "key in ignition", headlights left on, etc. So, if you have lost that, then that is almost a garantee new GEM module as this speaker is internal to the GEM and if that fails, there is no replacing it unless you feel really adventurous.
