No start after radio removal
May sound like a dumb question, but did you disconnect the battery before removing the radio? If you didn't you may have set off the Passive Anti-theft system. If so it means a trip to the dealer to disarm the anti-theft.
Do a search on here, but I believe the problem is you have removed the radio. There is something in the communication where the radio has to be in the loop. I can't give you a more technical reason, but you should be able to find it with a quick search on here. Try putting the radio back in and see if it starts.
The radio is a box taped up and ready to be shipped back to the manufacture. I think I might have jumped the gun a little,I put a meter on the battery and it was reading 10.1 volts not enough to crank, the radio was the last thing I the I touched and she started fine before that, so I assumed it had something to do with that. Currently I am waiting on a battery charger I have in storage, I will charge it,hopefully start it and to Autozone and have it tested and will report back, Thanks for the quick respones.
Quick Update I refused to think it was the battery, all I did was remove the aftermarket radio, roll the windows up and down, and lock the car.IT WAS THE BATTERY, in the morning we go to Autozone to see if the battery is on it's last leg. Until then
Update: You can stop LOL now,Autozone said everything is working as it should and I probably left something on,I will keep an eye on the fan relay ,it is the the thing I can think of .....
