Default NOOB post

Have been lurking for a few days, just thought I'd post a newbie thread. Picked up a 03 X-Type last week. Has been at dealer bieng repaired longer than in my driveway!!! Has a burning oil smell, bad rear brakes, and the dealer broke a wheel stud changing the brakes. Still waiting on the stud and road test.

Still at the dealers, so I'm not sure what they changed to get rid of the oil smell. I'm starting to feel like I bought a Hyundai Elantra ( the rental they gave us) instead of a Jag! I will post up the outcome once it's back.

I think in order to get a jag loaner, you have to request it in advance. Even when you do, ull still prolly end up with some other car. i requested one before and they sed they just gave the last one to someone else. i got stuck with a pos pt cruiser

Get a Jag loaner over here, although they charge you £17 for insurance and admin fees..........

Aquill...............I totally agree
Havin said that I gladly pay rather than drive around for a day or so in a Ford Ka ( or Ford woodlouse) as I call it. Jeez, I'd need one for each foot!!!!!!
