Phantum, I think you may want to talk with the sponsor. Some may want the sticker in a very specific place (as they see it, the most likely place people are going to look at on the car, ie, center of the driver's door, center of the rear bumper, etc) and others will not care as long as it is in an obvious place. If the sponsor says "put it where you want", then put it where you want. I think you are going to find that especially the more "jag purists" will tell you that a Jag should not have any sponsor stickers on the car and there is no good location. Other people are going to say "whereever". So, pick a spot and call it good.

"Sponsor" decals? You mean H&R and Konig are sponsoring you using their products by either paying you or providing you with parts? Or do you mean you just want to show everyone that you have installed those products in your car?

If it is the former, how did you arrange that? I'm sure a lot of others would be curious to know. If it is the latter (which is what I suspect), my opinion, and you can take it for what it's worth, is that it looks better without it, plus, no one even cares. It has nothing to do with it being a Jag and the car is somehow to special or pure to have anything like that attached. I just see no point in it and I don't think it looks nice.I think your car looks fine just the way it is. Sometimes less is more. That's just me. But, it is YOUR car and you can do whatever you think is best.

Default Ok

So the deal with the sponsorship works like this.
if you have specific companies that you are looking to buy parts from say konig for example, what I did was get the emails for sponsorship on the site or just email them in general and explain your project, they will want a return on investment, so you have to either decal the car or do shows and or both for a certain time period, the idea is that they give free or highly discounted parts for exposure, NO, they are not going to build you a car or just give stuff away, it is a business deal. Some of them are local shops as well.

please do not ask me for a list of emails or contacts, please take the time to do the leg work and make some contacts.

As for the comments I appreciate the input both from a purist stand point and others
thanks

PHantum, I am not questioning what you are doing, but I have a general belief when it comes to stickers like what you are looking at. When you re-arrange the letters, they tend to spell "STEAL ME". I only say this from a first hand experience that my son was involved in. He felt the need to advertise what sort of stereo equipment he had in his car. Well, someone felt that they needed his stereo more than he did and they knew exactly what he had in his car. Not saying that someone will steal your car, but why advertise and make it more enticing? I know some people do not have unlimited funds and this looks like a promising thing. But, depending on the crowd you hang with and your local area, you may be bringing on more problems than solutions. The other thing I would look into is talking with your insurance company about replacement costs for the upgraded parts. Most insurances will only replace factory parts (assuming that they were damaged in a wreck). If the vehicle gets stolen, they are not going to give you extra money because you have upgraded a bunch of stuff unless you have the special rider to your policy. In your case, because you are signing a contract with various companies, they are going to want you to advertise for them regardless of what happens. If you don't have your car, how do you meet the contract requirements? Now you are talking a breech of contract and that can get ugly depending on how things are written.

Not trying to scare you, but sometimes you have to think about the worst case and are you willing to take that chance.

In my drag racing days, those small contingency checks were a big help...but I had the logos on magnets and never left them on when the car was on the street.

The various sponsors had specific requirements as to locations for the logos.

Default Thanks

That's a great idea, to put them on magnets !!
and you are right every little bit helps, I guess I should have been more specific, as they did tell me there were 2 possible locations for these two logos, but they are in front of the wheel well or behind it and on both sides.....hence the placement in the photos, but in any case thanks for all the input, it is appreciated.
