The 03 X-Type I picked up has the phone buttons on the steering wheel... Does that mean that it came with bluetooth? Are there different oem cd decks? All of the oem cd decks I see on ebay have the phone/dial pad...

no, just cause you have the buttons doesnt mean you have bluetooth. call you local dealership with the last 6 of the vin and they can break down your vehicle and see if you have bluetooth.

 

If it says on the screen when pressed no phone, or the steering wheel button just mutes, then you don't have bluetooth or voice.
