Default OEM Rim for X-Type Sport 2005

Need to buy a new rim for my X-Type Sport 3.0. Somehow the place I went to get my tire checked, it was always losing air, said that I need a new rim! Does anybody know the best place for a used one? Thanks!

EDIT: Think that it's this one: OEM Factory Sport Wheel Rim 17" Aguila Set. Although I just need one.

So I'm certain that's the rim I need. Does anybody know the difference between sparkle silver and chrome? I don't know which one the OEM ones I have now would be considered!

Question What's wrong with your rims?

Just wonderin' why they're saying your rims need to be replaced... I had the same problem last week and was told the same thing. I have 18x7.5 Arubas and had a rim that developed a crack (4 mos) after 'slamming' one of the notorious potholes in Colorful Colorado. before pics are attached. Crack was on the inner flange, progressing to the bead seat. To make a long story short(er), they suggested i buy a new set of rims from them, or that they could possibly find a used one for me for maybe $300... no thanks. I found a rim repair shop that fixed it for less than $100. You can't even tell the crack existed. I know a lot of people may frown on it, but it's as solid as it can get and you never know what you're going to get buying used off of ebay. I know the Jag and Ferrari dealers here have them repaired all the time on used vehicles, and you'd be absolutely amazed at some of the wheels they can fix, and in many cases, in just 1 day.

Don't know if your question about chrome vs sparkle silver was answered. Sparkle Silver is a coating, basically paint. Very, very fine silver metallic, covered with a clear coat. Google "jaguar aruba". most are finished in sparkle silver. Chrome is, well... chrome. As in an old bumper, or your inner door handles. More "bling factor" if you're into that, but more work to take care of too (unless clear coated). Good luck on your wheel

If you're looking for a 18" Aruba, your part # is C2S46845

MSRP is $835 or so (but you can get a brand new one from a dealer for something like $650-670). Or a used (I guess) one for around $400

Good luck

Default X-TYPE AGUILA CHROME - Are you still looking?

If you're still looking for wheels for your X-Type, I have two that are chrome Aguila, with Jag caps. I can provide photos, if interested.
