oops what have i done

Default oops what have i done


this is the underside of the top half of the air box.broke off that little plastic pipe.

bodged a repair but can any body advise me its purpose?

On the diesel, I believe it is a crankcase vent, pulls the fumes in after the air cleaner.

would it be ok to leave the pipe disconnected and block the hole in the airbox?

you should be ok. I have it disconnected and no issues so far.
