I had the headliner in my 04 X-Type replaced Saturday morning...
it looks nice, but...

1) he blew the use for the overhead lights and A/C ECU, and living on the gulf coast, that's no bueno.
I replaced the fuse - had to be a contortionist, but it works now

2) the switches for the overhead lights flop around now. Did the upholstery guy lose a vital part of my console?

 

YES. If he did not lose parts, he certainly damaged the overhead console in some way, especially if a fuse was blown also........Mike
