Default P0333 Knock Sensor replacement project - advice appreciated

Well, been getting this P0333 code for a few weeks and keeps coming back even when the codes are cleared. Car appears to keep going into limp mode (stutters when trying to go above 3000 RPM but runs smooth otherwise, is this limp mode?).

So, I'm planning on tackling this repair this weekend. Knock sensor has been ordered, but I want to run a parts list by everyone and most importantly, can I get this stuff listed below at local auto stores?

Here's what I'm planning on doing while I'm in there under the intakes:

-update ribbed pcv breather hose (already replaced)
-upper and lower intake plenum gasket/seals (6 of each)
-spark plugs (any recommended plugs I should use?)
-new pcv valve
-throttle body gasket (should I take it off the intake?)
-new o-ring for the water neck side
-new seal for the water pump side

Can anyone weigh in on some good places that they've bought these items for their x-type?

I am reading stshots great walkthrough of his same repair. Any other encouragement or tips?

Would you mind doing a write up with clear photos possibly? This is something I've been wanting to tackle lately, but I want some clearer steps on it.

Yes, I plan on taking pictures throughout the process and will post a good write-up as it took me a lot of research to figure out how to do it.

As for the updated PCV hose, here is where I bought it:
