P1314, 1316 code
Hello friends, how serious are these codes and how do I fix them and will it be expensive or can I do them my self?
I have a 2004 X-Type with 650000 miles.
It had been sitting since 2010 in my Dads driveway not being used so he gave it to me. I did a tune up, had the fuel pump replaced, fuel filter and then I get these codes.
Can some one give me some guidance.
Thank you.

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to X-Type forum. This is the place to post technical questions about your model.

That code would also be accompanied by other codes which would tell you what cylinder is misfiring on that bank. Check the coils. Could be bad after sitting that long.
Because you are getting excess misfire but no other codes are present would indicate you have a pretty good vacuum leak and the system is over fueling and the engine is not burning the fuel properly.
The first thing you need to do to confirm this is get an OBD scan that can read fuel trims. The STFT (short term fuel trim) LTFT (long term fuel trim) are probably going to be in the high + range.
Get the fuel trims read and then post the results. We can help you through the list of normal vacuum leak culprits.
