Paint in the butt

Paint in the butt
I have been looking for weeks for a white paint, that I could spray over a minor repair to the left dog leg of my 07 X Type. Nobody makes a small can of paint for my car. I searched every autoparts house, and ebay for my color. Duplicolor said they don't even have a listing for an 07 X Type. The local Napa said they would mix up some, but $40 is a bit much for a little dent. The panel is being repaired for a rust bubble in May, so I think I will just wait. White hides a lot of sins. When the Rustoleum epoxy dried, it got whiter than it went down........Thanks for the help, and I hope I didn't steer anyone wrong.....Be cool....Mike

mrplow, do you own an airbrush? If so, Duplicolor should have a 1/2 ounce bottle of the touch-up paint in the color you need. Then you can pour the paint out of the touch up bottle, thin it about 30-50% with a good thinner and then you can airbrush it on to the car (tending to spray only the area where the chip has occurred so the paint will build up at the edge of the chip and help make the paint more level all the way around).
