Hi All

Just got a 2007 x type 2.2d estate but am getting slightly worried already, the engine is nice and smooth seems to have plenty of power, but when cold at about 1800 to 2500 rpm I am getting a what seems to be injector noise, like a tapping noise gets better when warm but only noticeable when driving gently. If I drive through it I don't notice it.

Just wondered if it is a characteristic

 

I have a 2.0d and it does the same thing. I think it's normal.
