Default parking sensors

2007 X type. parking sensors working fine until yesterday. Now when I engage reverse I get a continuous tone which stays on until I go back into neutral.

Continuous tone indicates a sensor failure. You will need to have the shifter in reverse and put an ear next to each sensor. You should hear a continual clicking. The one with no sound is the bad one.

Mine did the same thing once. I went and thoroughly cleaned the sensors and it seemed to fix it. They've been working fine ever since.
