Default Part identification help

Hi all, just doing some work on my 2.5 V6 and come across this wire that's not connected. Any ideas what it is and where it should be please?

That looks like the plug that keeps the battery live during shipping. Once shipped it is no longer needed.

Bud is correct. In the back-side of the battery box is a small receptacle into which you can plug this just to keep it out of the way.
