Why is it so hard to find parts for the X-type? I can't even find a Chilton or Haynes manual for my 2003 X-type 2.5 L. Anyone know of a thrid party manual.

I got the factory manual on ebay for a few dollars.. it is excellent.

I contacted Haynes (in Devon) when I bought my X Type 18 months ago regarding a manual.According to them they had no plans to release a manual (if I remember it was due to Jag stopping them).Instead i got a JTIS CD manual off Ebay for a few Â£'s.

Thanks for the input once again. I went to ebay and bought a 2002 to 2004 shop manual CD for under $10 US.

the dealer tells me they charge the repairs based on CHILTON manual.
Does it exist?
why dont they use the Jaguar system?

I don't know, I've been to Chiltons web site and can't find anything for the 2003 X-Type. I've been searching the web now for several days and have only found 3 or 4 web site that have any information on this car. As far as parts, still looking.
