MY son's 04 with a 3.0ltre has developed a wine coming from the power steering pump. Is this a common problem? If so how hard a job is it to replace the pump? Or how much should it cost at a decent garage? Or will power steering pump conditioner help. It just seems to be a little louder than I think it should be. thank you bob

 

Fluid is full right? Conditioner couldn't hurt and it's cheaper than replacing the whole pump so an easy place to start. I haven't heard many people with PS pump issues so.......
