Default Prop shaft 2004 x-type

I am new to this site, I bought a 2004 x-type 3.0 on Jan 22, 2012, I paid $8300 for it and it has 55,000 miles on it. I have put $1700 into it since I have owned it. I had 2 noises coming from it, a grinding sound and when it is below 30 degrees a siren sound coming from it. I took it to a foreign repair shop and they replaced a wheel bearing, front brakes including rotors, rear axel shaft and a power steering pump and guess what...I still have those 2 noises. It was not til I found this site, did I learn that its probably my prop shaft and now I am out of money and can not afford to get it fixed. I have read about greasing this center bearing but mine being a 2004 I do not have the notches. I am going to try to force it under the seal this Friday. My question is will the grease get to the bearing this way? I also am thinking about putting some flex seal around the seal after I get the grease in. I have read that in some cases it might not be the bearing but the rubber seal, I was hoping that maybe re-sealing it might help. I hear the grinding sound quite a bit, especially turning right, like I said I have only heard the siren or whislte when it was cold. I am just looking for opinions on whether this might work. Thanks so much!!

I just removed my shaft (04) and could not see any way to get grease in with a grease needle.
My problem was that the rubber which goes around the bearing support was torn all around allowing the driveshaft to move up, down, left and right at the center support.
Go under the car and push up on the driveshaft at the center support and see if you have a large amount of play.
Driveshafts are going for around $150 inc shipping on ebay (used)
