Question about swap out the auto tramission

Hello everybody, i just bought a 2002 x type 3.0 with broken auto transmsion. I really like the manual. I think it is a good candidate to swap in the manual. What am I going to do with the electronic solenoid and how I hook up the manual tran. to the ECU? . Do I need different ECU for the manual tranmission?. Any inputs would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading my post

I would say that this is a good idea, and the hard part will be the electronics.
If you have a donor car, you should be ok but may take days of swapping various parts..

Thanks, Jimmy. I don't have the donor car. My local junkyard have the manual box. I will contact them and I will get as many parts I can get from them. I will post the progress along the way. Thanks again
