I want to take the stock exhaust tips off and put on larger ovals.

Can they be removed? They definately seem to be seperate from the muffler, in fact, they are without a doubt. But how connected are they?

Another problem, the muffler output is angled downwards towards the back if you go look. The oval tip has a slot in it to insert the muffler output so the tip can face straight out even though the muffler output angles downwards.

Any advice to get around this with new muffler/exhaust tips?
