on my 2002 3.0 how many hoses to remove and what else to remove
to get it out?

Haynes book does not have enough info. for removal.

There is only an upper and lower radiator hose but pulling the radiator is a little different from most cars. The radiator must come out thru the bottom of the engine compartment. The lower hose isn't too tough but for the upper you will have to remove the battery.
Follow the link below and go to the Jaguar Spec Book section and you can download the entire tech manual in sections. It will give the run down for dealing with the fan assembly oil coolers, radiator and lower splash pan.
