So, it's been raining now nonstop over a week. Yesterday I got the dreaded gearbox fault, but that happens on occasion when it rains and tends to go away. Today however when I started my car not only did I get the gearbox fault, but the dash went crazy blinking, the car was randomly switching gears while I was at a standstill, and a really weird error showed up on the screen, something like a "penkes" error it something nutty like that.
I know this has to be water related because it seemed completely like a short. I heard that the TCM module behind the fuse box can get wet so I stuck my hand back there and felt nothing. What the hell else could it be?? It's going to the dealer on Monday provided I can drive it.
