I think I've located some of the rattles on this car...they seem to be coming from the heat shields underneath the vehicle...I noticed that where they are fastened together have become rusty and have let loose of their hold...any ideas on how i should go about re-securing them to the vehicle would be the cat's pajamas...pun intended

 

it wont do much harm to simply take them off. I had a bit of rattle from mine as well and i opted to just remove the section that had come loose and I didn't notice a difference beside the lack of rattling.
